The Fancy Fin- Weeki Wachee Springs

To find a place like this AND dog friendly! It’s almost impossible now days. The house is so cute, clean and cozy. We travel, a lot….. this is one of the first rentals we’ve been in that has everything you could think of. The bathrooms actually have bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The kitchen is stocked with all cooking supplies….its very obvious that these owners truly thought of their guests when they prepared this house. The coffee maker is a hybrid - it’s both K-cups and a regular pot of coffee - so everyone in the house was happy! Plenty of towels and extra blankets if needed. But the outside!! The real reason we’re all vacationing in Florida. Our kiddos (13 year old boys) were non-stop the whole stay! From the water slide, rope swing, floaty mat, paddle board and multiple kayaks - we had a blast! Our party ranger in age from 13 years olds - 84 years old; and nobody was ever bored. Sitting on the dock watching multiple manatees and dolphins - YES DOLPHINS swim by was magical! It was so quiet and peaceful to sit outside in the early morning hours, sipping coffee and taking in God’s beauty. The fire pit was the perfect ending to our days full of fun in the sun. The host was very kind and responsive. We seriously cannot wait to go back. If you’re viewing this gem and it’s available - grab it fast.

Awesome place on the River! With all the watercraft items you would need if you enjoy kayaking/paddle boarding. 10/10 recommended.

My family and I had the greatest long weekend at the Fancy Fin! It was so close to all the activities, a short kayak ride to Rogers Park, perfect for the kids to play outside and enjoy nature, and the house has everything needed for a perfect vacation! We will definitely be back soon!

Definitely will be staying here again. The communication was great, and being right on the river with water toys for the kids was perfect.
